Detailed Description

The SuperCi@o.it project is designed for High School students but can also be utilized at the Middle School level. The course includes 4 volumes, one for each year, along with a series of didactic materials. Each level of the course is organized into a didactic unit with a central theme. All the activities for the development of language and cultural concepts are structured around this central theme or topic. The focal point of each lesson always represents something out of the everyday life experience and interest of the student. The progression of the course corresponds to the psychological, educational, social and cognitive growth of the students. The effective organization of the lesson plan is of fundamental importance for the teacher: it's important that the teacher gives the necessary attention to methods of communication which best enable them to reach their goals, making use of the rich resources and didactic materials provided in the course. Teachers organize and provide activities which facilitate conversation and present grammar and linguistic structures the students are learning. 1A. Advanced for High School (grade 12) CD-ROM accompanies the Assessments/Portfolio Book (item # ELS1900) and contains: the pages of each assessment to be printed for the students, the solutions to all assessments, an audio registration of each text, and grading tables.
